Daycare

Enrollment Requirements:

• Veterinary records (vaccinations for rabies, distemper, parvovirus and bordetella) must be provided for all dogs. All vaccines must be current.
• All dogs are screened for aggression and temperament before they are allowed into our daycare program. Only non-aggressive, social dogs are accepted.
• Ages accepted: 4 months and up
• All dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.
• All dogs must be on a flea, tick and heartworm preventative as well.
• All dogs must be in good health.You cannot bring a sick/injured dog to daycare.
• Reservations are required for daycare to allow for adequate staffing.

A Typical Day at Camp Ruff it

• 6:30am-12:00pm: Crazy play in our 6000 sq. ft. play area (The dogs are excited to play)
• 12:00pm-2:00pm: Nap time (lights are dimmed and everyone rests)
• 2:00pm-5:00pm: Moderate play (dogs are getting tired)
• 5:00pm-7:00pm: Dogs wind down and get ready to go home
• Dogs are free to play and rest whenever they feel the need
• All dogs will have regular visits to our potty stations

Daycare provides your dog the social outlet that they desperately need. It also gives them the exercise that they need to stay healthy. The end result is a tired, happy dog. Camp Ruff it offers daycare 7 days a week 365 days a year for your convenience.

Boarding

At Camp Ruff It, we like to make our furry guests feel at home. Weve created our Doggie Lounge for that particular purpose. Your little camper will enjoy a day of play with our daycare group, eat dinner, visit the potty station, and then retire to our doggie lounge where all dogs sleep together in a slumber party-type environment. One of our trained and certified staff members will host the nightly sleepovers, ensuring your pets safety, comfort and any special needs. Your dog will never be left alone. We offer comfy sofas; plush doggie beds, cozy cots, movies, treats and soothing music to make everyones stay as home-like as possible.

All cage -free boarding guests will be required to attend at least one full day of daycare prior to their 1st day of boarding, so that they are familiar with the facility, daily routine and staff. We know that cage-free boarding is not for every dog, so we also offer cozy den-like crate boarding for certain guests that just want to be alone. Of course, those dogs can still enjoy the movies, treats and music. The choice of boarding options is completely up to you. We want to offer your dog the same sleeping accommodations that they have at home for a less stressful visit.

Boarding dogs should be dropped off as early as possible so that they get a chance to play before retiring for the night. They may be dropped off anytime between 6:30am-7pm on the day of boarding. Check out time is from 7am-10am. Pick-ups after 10am will be charged another day of daycare. (See our Rates page)

Boarding Checklist

• Fill out all forms
• Bring dog in for pre-screening interview before the day of boarding
• Supply all food for your dog in portioned baggies/containers labeled with name and feeding instructions
• You may bring a favorite toy, blanket, and washable dog bed anything that smells like home to make your dogs stay less stressfull, however we do provide all bedding at the facility.
• 4-6ft leash and collar with pinch type buckle and first/last name attached.

Reservations are required for boarding. Please make your reservation early for Holiday weeks and weekends, as we tend to book up and have limited space available. We do require a 48-hour cancellation notice so that we can accommodate clients on a waiting list.

BATHING

We offer in-between grooming baths to our clients (includes brush-out, shampoo and blow dry. Nails are extra.) Rates vary by size of dog (see our Rates page)

We currently do not offer full grooming services in house, but we can make arrangements with local groomers for this service.

Dogs boarding more than a week will get a complimentary exit bath.

PET TAXI

Can we help you run your errands? The Camp Ruff It pet taxi will pick up and/or drop off your pet to help you with your busy schedule. You can also schedule our pet taxi to take your dog to veterinary or grooming appointments.

Mileage will be calculated using map quest from Camp Ruff It to assigned destination.
