FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Got questions? We've got answers.
Below you’ll find helpful information about our services, policies, and what to expect—so you and your pup can feel confident and prepared.
DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO ENROLL MY DOG IN DAYCARE/BOARDING?
Yes! All dogs must complete a scheduled screening with one of our trained staff to ensure they’re friendly, social, and a great fit for Camp.
WHAT DOES THE ENROLLMENT INTERVIEW CONSIST OF?
Your dog’s first day includes a slow, gentle introduction to the facility and other dogs, plus a behavior screening with our trained staff. You'll need to bring proof of vaccinations, a quick-release collar with ID, and complete our online registration. The $30 enrollment fee covers a half-day trial to help your pup settle in. All new boarders must also complete one half day and one full day of daycare before staying overnight.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY DOG DOES NOT PASS THE SCREENING PROCESS?If we notice your pup isn’t quite ready for our social setting, we’ll safely separate them and give you a call to pick them up. We recommend scheduling the interview on a day you’re available, just in case it’s not the right fit.

WILL MY DOG HAVE TO DO THE SCREENING PROCESS AGAIN?
Sometimes! If your pup didn’t pass the first time, you can try again in 90 days. If it’s been more than six months since their last visit, we’ll schedule a rescreening (a half-day of daycare) to make sure they’re still a good fit.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO DAYCARE?
Please bring a 4–6 ft. leash, a quick-release collar with your dog’s full name, and any meals pre-portioned in a labeled bag or container. We’re happy to follow feeding instructions and can give medications if needed.

WHAT SHOULD I NOT BRING TO DAYCARE?
Please leave toys and bedding at home—we’ve got plenty! To keep things safe and prevent resource guarding, we provide all the cozy spots and fun your pup needs for a great day at Camp.

ARE DOGS SEPARATED BY SIZE AND TEMPERAMENT?
Yes! After the screening, we place your dog with the group they’re most comfortable with. While we often separate by size and energy, some dogs surprise us... big or small, we make sure every pup is safe, happy, and surrounded by good friends.

WHAT IS CAGE-FREE BOARDING?
Cage-free means just that—no cages! Dogs enjoy a slumber party-style sleepover with comfy beds, sofas, and a caring overnight staff member by their side. It’s a homey, relaxed setting where pups can unwind with their pals after a fun day. If this setup isn’t right for your dog, we’ll work together to find the best solution.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR OVERNIGHT BOARDING?
We provide cozy beds, blankets, and bowls. Just bring your dog’s food, pre-portioned and labeled with their name and feeding instructions. You’re welcome to pack a washable comfort item from home to help your pup feel more at ease. Mealtimes are always supervised and served individually for everyone’s safety.

CAN I BOARD MY DOG WITHOUT AN INTERVIEW OR DAYCARE SESSION?
All dogs must complete a screening, plus at least one half day and one full day of daycare before boarding. For longer stays, a trial overnight may be recommended to make sure your pup is fully comfortable with our staff, space, and routine.

WILL SOMEONE BE THERE AT NIGHT WITH MY DOG?
Absolutely! We’re the only facility in DuPage County where overnight staff don’t just stay on-site—they share the same room (and even the same bed) with our Campers. With 24-hour care and cage-free boarding, your pup is never alone and always in safe, loving hands.
DO YOU HAVE AN OUTDOOR SPACE?No, our facility is fully indoors—designed for year-round safety, comfort, and peace of mind. You never have to worry about your dog getting loose or being exposed to harsh weather. Our climate-controlled space is equipped with medical-grade air purifiers, non-toxic cleaning products, and sanitized indoor dog park-style play areas where dogs can safely run, play, and potty.
Another bonus? Inside Camp, dogs can’t hear loud storms or fireworks, making it a stress-free space for even the most sound-sensitive pups. Dogs quickly learn the “Camp rules” and still remember to go outside once they’re home. With clean, cozy surroundings and staff always nearby, your dog enjoys a fun, secure environment every day.
