Every dog who walks through our doors brings a one-of-a-kind personality — from the class clown to the quiet cuddlebug, the social butterfly to the shy sweetheart. At Camp Ruff It, we get to see their stories unfold every day. This series is our way of sharing those behind-the-scenes moments, spotlighting the dogs who make Camp so special. Because here, every pup is the main character.

Episode Three Starring: Auggie and Ada
Scene 1: Lights On, Hearts Awake
(The lights flicker on in the Medium Playroom. Ada creeps in, hugging the wall. Zoe, Ada's sister, already napping.)
Ada (nervously):
"Too many noises… that broom moved again."
Zoe (pausing mid-yawn):
"Breathe, Ada. Auggie’s already on the purple bridge, striking his morning pose."
(Cut to Auggie majestically perched on the purple bridge. His schnauzer beard flutters in the breeze from the A/C vent.)
Scene 2: Bridge of Bravery
(Ada stares at the bridge. It's just a few feet tall, but to her, it’s Everest.)
Ada (to herself):
"You can do scary things… especially when Auggie’s waiting."
(She inches forward. Staff walk by with a water bucket. She flinches, but keeps going. Auggie gives an encouraging bark from above.)
Auggie:
"One paw at a time, my brindle beauty."
Scene 3: Schnauzer Secrets
(They meet at the top. Purple plastic underpaw. Staff chuckle in the background, watching love unfold.)
Auggie (serious):
"I hate when they switch shifts. I bark. I panic. But when you’re here… I’m still."
Ada (snuggling into his fluff):
"You make the world less loud."
(Cue tail wags. A golden retriever pup sneezes below — comic relief.)
Scene 4: Zoe's Eye Roll
(Back on the floor, Zoe lounges by the toy bin.)
Zoe:
"They’re in their own soap opera. Literally. But hey, at least she’s not glued to my side now."
(She tosses a toy casually in their direction. Auggie barks once — no staff transition, just joy.)
Scene 5: Love in the Air (and Ventilation System)
(Evening play winds down. Staff mop floors. Ada and Auggie are still on the bridge, tails entwined.)
Ada:
"I never liked change. Until you."
Auggie:
"Promise me we’ll always climb the bridge… together."
(Final shot: lights dim to a soft glow. The purple bridge stands as a throne for Camp Ruff It’s newest royal couple.)
